The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is a partner in BUSUnited (BUILD UP Skills United), a pan-European project under the LIFE Clean Energy Transition programme running from September 2025 to August 2028. The project brings together a broad European consortium to accelerate upskilling and reskilling of the construction workforce in line with the European Green Deal and the EU’s 2050 carbon neutrality objective.
FEEIT — active within the BUILD UP Skills framework since 2012 — takes on a substantial role in the project. As a project partner, FEEIT contributes through its expertise in energy, energy efficiency, sustainable development, digitalisation, and education. Particularly significant is the fact that FEEIT is highly active in six Communities of Practice, where it participates in thematic discussions, the exchange of experience, the identification of challenges, and the promotion of possible solutions for skills development in the construction sector.
As one of ESEIA’s newest members, FEEIT brings to the Alliance a strong track record in European energy and skills projects and a growing role as a regional hub for sustainable energy education in the Western Balkans.
