EUA webinar ‘The European Green Deal and universities’
EUA organised the online webinar ‘The European Green Deal and universities’ to discuss the sector’s vision for the future of the European Green Deal. The Green Deal is a politically ambitious framework that deepens Europe’s long-standing quest for sustainability. As societal actors committed to this goal, and as sources of the research and innovation that can enable it, universities welcome the breadth of initiatives undertaken by the European Commission.
Together with representatives of EU institutions and the think tank sector, participants discussed how to turn the vision into reality and how to ensure universities are recognized as critical stakeholders in the green transition.
