ESEIA continues to support the implementation, communication and stakeholder engagement activities across its Horizon Europe project portfolio.

During the second quarter of 2026, significant progress was achieved across the Alliance’s ongoing projects. INITIATE continued to strengthen research and innovation capacity through its Knowledge Exchange Programme and the implementation of participatory R&I Labs. EMERGE advanced its work on energy transition in emerging economies by launching Policy Labs, Hackathons and stakeholder engagement activities across its pilot regions. ToFuel progressed the development of an integrated biorefinery concept for sustainable aviation fuels from tomato residues, while expanding the project’s communication activities and dissemination of its first research results.
