Sustainable Smart Cities
Consists of a repository of presentations on cities as sustainable models, smart design and multi-functional planning approaches, as well as energy efficient policies and their impact on the urban built-in sector.
The ESEIA Best Lecture Library is a collection of top lectures on sustainable energy systems. This online library groups a variety of different types of resources and materials targeted at sustainability education, and was funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Science and Research.
The eseia Best Lecture Library combines five areas of crucial relevance to the challenge of ensuring sustainable energy in the European countries and regions, namely Sustainable Smart Cities, Regional Integrated Energy Development, Societal Energy, Energy Storage and Smart Grids, and EU Project Management, a cross-cutting field.
Regional Integrated Energy Development
This building block covers specific topics on the integration and planning of innovative sustainable energy systems at the regional scale; it also draws on multi-level resource governance, IT approaches and energy management policies.
Societal Energy
The Societal Energy building block features a collection of lectures focusing on the societal challenges, the national, regional and community-level led initiatives, and the driving forces behind our transition to sustainable energy futures.
Energy Storage and Smart Grids
This building block includes a selection of lectures on electrical energy storage, smart grids, e-mobility, micro-energy generation, with a focus on the energy efficiency dimension.
EU Project Management
The EU Project Management building block groups materials on how to write and develop successful EU project proposals, while also taking a look at the practicalities and applications of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and the EU-funded Marie Curie Actions.
