ESEIA International Summer School 2022 open for application
Mark your calendar: ESEIA International Summer School is back for another edition! Dedicated to Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) Solutions for Climate-Friendly Energy Production, this year’s edition is going to take place 19-30 September.
The power of LDES technologies lies in their ability to collect, store, and release energy under various conditions. This will make them particularly useful in future energy systems with an increased share of renewable energy sources.
The upcoming two-week programme aims to dive into the topic and provide an opportunity to explore different LDES solutions and their potential for decarbonised energy systems. Through dedicated lectures and group projects, participants will be able to learn, connect and exchange ideas with experts and peers from across the globe.
We encourage Master’s degree and PhD students interested in renewable energy and innovative energy storage solutions to apply. Applications are free of charge and can be submitted until 11 September 2022.
The last edition of ESEIA International Summer School was a big success, with more than 30 participants from Chile, Finland, Germany, India, Italy and Nigeria. This year’s edition is organised in cooperation with Finnish Heat Circulation Innovation Platform (FINHCIP) Universities in Finland. Check out our flyer for more information.
