This Summer Newsletter takes you to reading about the upcoming ESEIA proposals in the areas of biofuels from agricultural residues to sustainable transport infrastructure to the uptake of renewables on the market, as well as to measures for societal acceptance.
Learn more about the five key recommendations from ESEIA’s Position on FP10 which outlines strategic recommendations to enhance European research and innovation through alliances, global partnerships, prioritization of horizontal topics, actionable frameworks, and support for self-organization and entrepreneurship.

Looking ahead, ESEIA’s upcoming online events, such as the International Summer School on Net Zero Solutions,16-27 September 2024,and the Online Workshop on Membranes in Biorefineries to be held on 18 September (Register). On 24 October 2024, the ESEIA community eagerly anticipates the 11th lecture in its series, focusing on Circular Bioeconomy Start-Up Villages: From Idea to Market. You are invited to send your abstract to the thematic sessions until 31 October 2024 for the 6th ESEIA International Conference, Net Zero and Beyond that will take place in Kuopio, Finland on 4 December 2024, organized by Savonia University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with ESEIA and Energy Cluster North Savo.
