TalTech Seminar on Mobility as a Service

The Tallinn University of Technology organises the seminar “Mobility as a service and autonomous vehicles- trends and developments in EU” together with the Estonian Research Council, the Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU and in collaboration with Helsinki City.

The venue takes place on Tuesday 7th February from 11.00 to 13.00 in the Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU (Rue Guimard 11/13, Brussels 1040).

Transportation is entering into the new era of autonomous vehicles and most ground principles are going to be redefined. Among the key-topics of the seminar:

  • Autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence;
  • future of the area: how can autonomous vehicles be effectively involved in urban traffic and how do people perceive such technologies;
  • an overview of future transport developments: smart city in EU and in Estonia.

The seminar will be held within the framework of the Science Week at the European Parliament (5-7 February 2019) organized by the Panel for the Future of Science and Technology, Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission, and the European Research Council.
