The EMERGE Project marked its first year of work with a General Assembly (GA) held on 27-28 November 2024, at Université Mohammed Premier (UMP) in Oujda, Morocco. Hosted by UMP, the event brought together representatives from 11 partner organizations spanning Europe and Africa. The assembly focused on presenting updates and achievements from the past year, alongside discussions on strategic plans for 2025. Read more about the GA here.
On 27 November 2024, EMERGE also organized its first co-design workshop, titled “Empowering Green Energy Development in Africa: Tools Optimization & Policy Workshop.” This workshop convened stakeholders to collaboratively develop tools and address policy challenges critical to advancing green energy initiatives in Africa.
