RE4Industry Knowledge Transfer Seminar and Final Event: Registrations Open

After three exciting years, the Horizon 2020-funded project RE4Industry is nearing its end. Two more hybrid events in the framework of the project are coming up soon: the fourth Knowledge Transfer Seminar, on 13 June 2023, in Zagreb, and the project’s final event, on 20 June 2023, in Brussels. Do not miss out!

RE4Industry Knowledge Transfer Seminar Croatia

The fourth RE4Industry Knowledge Transfer Seminar will take place on 13 June 2023 in Zagreb, Croatia, marking the completion of the series organised throughout 2022-2023 by ESEIA and partner organisations as part of the project that aims to foster 100% renewable energies for energy-intensive industries (EIIs).

Hosted by the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, the final seminar will provide a platform for key stakeholders to keep exploring how to achieve full decarbonisation of EIIs.

In addition to the RE4Industry project overview delivered by partners, the programme includes presentations from experts in the field and round-table discussions covering the deep decarbonisation of heavy and energy and food and process industries.

This seminar is a great opportunity to learn more about the RE4Industry project, address the challenges and explore solutions for the decarbonisation of EIIs in Croatia, and, most importantly, create synergies for the successful energy transition in Europe. Register before 9 June 2023 to secure your seat!

RE4Industry Final Event

The RE4Industry project’s final event – Capturing competitiveness: carbon removal, renewable energies, and feedstock efficiency for EIIs – will take place on 20 June 2023 in Brussels, Belgium, in the margin of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW).

Over the past three years, 11 partners from 6 European countries worked together to achieve the project’s main objective: to facilitate for the EII sector in Europe a smooth and more secure transition to the adoption of renewable energies in their production processes and facilities. And now, you are invited to take part in the project’s final event that will showcase the results!

During the event, you will have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments and success cases in the decarbonisation of EIIs, engage in discussions and understand the crucial role of innovation and policy in mitigating climate change while ensuring sustainable growth and job creation within the EU. Register here to attend!
