INITIATE Project: Supporting European R&I through stakeholder collaboration and institutional reform

In June 2024, the INITIATE project hosted a workshop titled Green Transition – Experts for Grand Challenges at the University of Zagreb’s FER where experts discussed the critical role of multidisciplinarity and collaboration in achieving the EU’s green energy goals.

Key speakers highlighted technical innovations, renewable energy integration, and digital technologies for sustainable practices. Additionally, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) hosted a workshop on improving European R&D through industry and higher education cooperation. These events emphasized INITIATE’s commitment to fostering partnerships, driving innovation, and preparing students for future challenges.
