ESEIA Member TU Dublin Ranked 1st in Europe for Sustainability in Higher Education
We are proud to share that ESEIA Member Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) has been ranked 1st in Europe and 17th globally for sustainability in higher education by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). TU Dublin received the prestigious Gold STARS® accreditation in its first-ever submission to AASHE’s global Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System (STARS®).
This milestone achievement highlights TU Dublin’s leadership in sustainability performance, education, and institutional strategy. With a score of 83.66 points, the University demonstrated excellence across the five core areas of the STARS® framework: Academics, Engagement, Operations, Planning and Administration, and Innovation and Leadership.
As a committed ESEIA Member, TU Dublin plays an active role in advancing sustainability through interdisciplinary collaboration and real-world impact. Its recognition as Europe’s top-ranking institution in this domain reinforces ESEIA’s collective vision of shaping a more sustainable future through innovation in higher education.
