ESEIA at Finnish Super Ecosystem Week 2021 hosted by Savonia UAS
ESEIA Director Brigitte Hasewend took part in the Super Ecosystem Week 8 November 2021 and presented ESEIA via video recording.
The event hosted by Savonia UAS took place 8 – 12 November 2021 with more than 300 participants from over 10 countries. The event was full of inspiring presentations and speakers to cover the latest insights on ecosystems, living labs and innovations on the different ecosystems such as health, water, energy, machinery and materials, bio and circular economy, and food & agriculture. On 8 November 2021 ESEIA Director, Brigitte Hasewend, introduced ESEIA and how the alliance will help deliver the Green Deal and its ‘Fit for 55’ targets by contributing research, education and training for sustainable energy system. Followed by North Savo Energy Cluster presentations and FinDHC (Finnish District Heating and Cooling Association) KeyNote on district heating in Finland today and tomorrow. The Super Week also included a Panel Discussion regarding North Savo Energy Cluster and Climate Change by Savonia UAS, Sumitomo, Savon Voima, Andritz, and UEF.
