COP31: Advancing Global Climate Action

The 31st UN Climate Change Conference (COP31) will take place from 9–20 November 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye, bringing together Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change to advance global action on climate change.

The European Union remains firmly committed to the implementation of the Paris Agreement, protecting people, nature and the economy from worsening climate impacts. Ahead of COP31, the EU is maintaining its commitment to return to the 1.5°C goal as soon as possible, while limiting the duration and scale of any overshoot, strengthening adaptation efforts and fostering climate resilience.

COP31 will provide a key international platform for strengthening cooperation and accelerating action towards the objectives of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

ESEIA will provide further updates ahead of COP31, including information on ESEIA Members participating in the conference and their activities in Antalya.
