ESEIA Pilot Plant Research Lab 2016

The event focused on sustainable resource efficiency, material conversion and site-related environmental technologies and techniques. The course was organized by BAV (Bergische Abfallwirtschaftsverband), in partnership with ESEIA, the Cologne Technical University and the University of Twente.

Nine participants gained in-depth overview of the operation of real-world installations. On the day 1, site viewings were organized to industrial waste and water treatment, biogas and combined combustion plants. The following days students worked testing and analyzing laboratory findings.
