VILNIUS TECH Launches Competence Center for Smart and Climate-Neutral Innovations  

VILNIUS TECH – Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, LT,  a prestigious member of ESEIA, has taken a major step forward in sustainable research and innovation by opening the Competence Center for Smart and Climate-Neutral Manufacturing Processes, Materials, and Technologies. This cutting-edge facility, backed by a EUR 17 million investment, is one of the largest research infrastructure projects in the university’s history. It will provide access to state-of-the-art scientific equipment, support interdisciplinary collaboration, and drive climate-neutral solutions across various industries.

A Hub for Sustainable Innovation and Research

This center stands out due to significant investments in scientific infrastructure—EUR 17 million was allocated for its development. This is one of the largest investments in research infrastructure in the university’s history, helping to modernize the research base and strengthen VILNIUS TECH’s position as one of the most advanced universities and research centers in the region.
