DESCRIPTION:The second RE4Industry Knowledge Transfer Seminar is going to take place 25 November 2022\, at Warkaus-Sali Hall\, in Varkaus\, Finland. Bioenergy\, circular bioeconomy\, energy storage and green hydrogen are among the topics to be covered during the event. \n\n\n\nCheck out the programme & reserve your seat!  \n\n\n\nThe seminar is co-organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland\, North-Savo Regional Council\, City of Varkaus and North-Savo Energy Cluster hosted by Savonia University of Applied Sciences. \n\n\n\nMore information about the event is available here.  \n\n\n\nJoin us and contribute to the debate on how to decarbonise EIIs! \n\n\n\n#RE4IndustryKTSeminars \n\n\n\nPrevious event \n\n\n\nOn 21 October 2022\, the first RE4Industry Knowledge Transfer Seminar was held in Graz\, Austria\, bringing together 100 participants to discuss how to decarbonise EIIs. We reviewed climate targets\, explored solution packages\, and discussed the push and pull factors of the energy transition. The seminar was organised by ESEIA in cooperation with the Federation of Austrian Industries of Styria and Carinthia and the Graz University of Technology. Here are the key takeaways.  \n\n\n\nAbout the project \n\n\n\nRE4Industry facilitates for the energy intensive industry sector in Europe a smooth and more secure transition to the adoption of renewable energies in their production processes and facilities. The project guides the EIIs and their organisations in their path for a total decarbonisation towards 2050 by providing vision and guidance to establish their long-term strategy for a coherent and more secure retrofitting and integration of current and future renewable energy solutions in their facilities and processes.
